These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Coralytic application ("the app"), published by Limenet ("we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Coralytic, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
2. Subscription terms
Coralytic offers an optional Coralytic Pro auto-renewing subscription with three billing periods:
- Weekly: $2.99 USD per week
- Monthly: $6.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $39.99 USD per year (with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers)
Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase via Apple's StoreKit. Apple may apply different prices in different storefronts.
Free trial
The 7-day free trial applies to first-time subscribers of the yearly plan. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the yearly price.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Renewal is charged to your Apple ID. You can cancel at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device.
Refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no control over refund decisions.
3. Pro features
An active Pro subscription unlocks the following features:
- Unlimited tanks (free tier limited to 1 tank)
- Full parameter history (free tier limited to 6 months)
- AI Insights powered by Google Gemini
- Future Pro features added during your subscription period
If your subscription ends, free-tier limits return — your data is preserved but Pro features become inaccessible until you resubscribe.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app
- Use the app to violate any law or regulation
- Attempt to circumvent subscription paywalls or jailbreak protections
- Use the AI Insights feature to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
5. AI-generated content disclaimer
The AI Insights feature uses Google Gemini to generate suggestions based on your tank data. These suggestions are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. They are intended as informational aids, not professional veterinary or aquaculture advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your aquarium and its inhabitants.
For critical issues (livestock illness, equipment failure, water quality emergencies), consult a qualified marine aquarium veterinarian or experienced reefkeeper.
6. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- AI insights will be accurate or beneficial for your tank
- Your data will not be lost (please back up your iPhone regularly)
- The app is compatible with all device configurations or future iOS versions
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limenet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of livestock, equipment damage, lost profits, or data loss — arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for Coralytic Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where applicable consumer protection laws grant you the right to bring claims in your local courts.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. If you do not agree to revised Terms, please stop using the app.
